End of the world? Nah, just some really neat coasters!

Another print in Laywoo-D3 done on an UP.

Designed by Dizingof, a pair of Mayan coasters. Not sure if Mayans had coasters back then, but the symbols are genuine!

Still a little stringy, but I try to imagine its just cobwebs...

  1. Awesome! This print's quality could fool anyone to think it's a genuine relic!..

    1. Hey Dizingof, any chance you could make another 4 to complete the set ??

I reprinted them 20% larger too. Says nothing about my drinking habits......8-)

  2. Thanks mate! Yes I'm really beginning to like this laywoo-d3. It gives things an organic look and feel that coloured plastic just can't.

  3. Yes, just ordered filament for testing. Wondering how is it with support removal?

    1. I have now printed the Sapphos sculpture (see above), which had a reasonable amount of support. Seems to come away fine.

  4. I haven't printed much that needs support yet. But what I have seen on one print suggests it will come away ok. At least easier than a lot of the PLA prints I have done.
